I want to make you and your student-athletes aware of the fact that we have a rowing program at Franklin and Marshall College. This will be second season that the women's team will enjoy varsity status. The men are classed as "club-varsity" but enjoy the same support as the women. (as a matter of fact we just bought a brand new Hudson Hammerhead Predator and 8 new oars for the men)
Generally you can consider this as a young Div III program. We are slowly expanding our schedule and hope to be competitive with top New England schools in a few years.
Franklin & Marshall is a residential college located in Lancaster, PA dedicated to excellence in undergraduate liberal education. The College is a major source of future doctorates in a variety of fields. According to the National Research Council data for the period 1990-1999, F&M ranks in the top 7% of more than 1300 colleges and universities nationwide in the percentage of graduates who earn PhDs.
